 FLA FLA works with the Polk County Sheriff's
Office, local law enforcement departments, the State Attorney's
Office, and other community agencies. We assist when they
have victims in need of an advocate or with others who will
benefit from our program.
 FLA FLA's primary
program is victim advocacy. We believe that our program calms
the victim and establishes a trusting relationship
to those who have been victimized. Our
program helps protect the victim's rights
during the process due to their willingness
to participate in the process. The mere
presence of the advocate's canine partner is instrumental
in the acceptance by and cooperation of the victim in these
difficult times. |
